Common questions
Who needs a fire risk assessment?
If you are responsible for a non-domestic premises, such as a business, a landlord with shared areas, or a managing agent, you are legally required to have a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment in place. We can tell you quickly whether this applies to you.
What is the difference between a fire risk assessment and a fire door inspection?
A fire risk assessment reviews the overall fire safety of your premises and the people in it. A fire door inspection is a focused check of whether your fire doors meet current standards. Many clients need both, and we can advise on what is right for your building.
Do you install fire alarms or emergency lighting?
No. Daedon is a consultancy. We review whether your systems are adequate, identify any gaps and recommend competent contractors to carry out work. This keeps our advice independent.
